The Orchard House is a project that fits into its surroundings like no other. The main idea was to create a house connected to nature and, as it were, “emerging” from the surrounding lush greenery. The building was constructed with a wooden structure, and in the interior the investors decided to uncover the roof trusses to emphasize the project’s connection with nature. The use of natural materials, such as wood shingles and stone, makes the house look as if it has been on the site for a very long time, and over time it has become overgrown with greenery – in other words, it fits perfectly into the landscape. We took care of the same thing in this project – Into the woods.
Moreover, the house, both by its form and elevation, refers to the buildings that are adjacent to it, and this enhances the effect of properly embedding it in the existing space.
In the building, we have also designed a covered, extensive terrace with a relaxation area, which includes among others a loggia. Terrace is connected to the summer kitchen leading to the house. From it you can also directly observe the spacious, beautiful garden – is this not the perfect place for relaxation or feasting with friends and family?
