The interior of this apartment is an example of harmonious combination of modern design approach with natural materials and subdued color palette. The architectural design was created by the renowned JEMS Architekci Studio, the characteristic form and thoughtful geometry of which became a perfect backdrop for the interior we created.
We focused on refined wood and soft lighting, which together create an atmosphere of calm, balance, and homely warmth. The open functional layout connects the kitchen, living area, and work zone, allowing for a smooth transition between everyday activities. Thanks to the thoughtful composition, each zone retains its distinctiveness while remaining a cohesive part of the larger whole.
The key role is played here by light – both natural light, coming in through large windows leading to the loggia, and artificial, mood-enhancing spot lighting, which highlights details and creates atmosphere. The interior opens up to greenery – the vegetation outside and the internal plant accents permeate the interior, blurring boundaries between the interior and the outside world.
As for the furniture, its minimalist form, finished with natural veneer, gives the interior rhythm and order. Built-in bookcases and shelves, filled with ceramics and books, introduce an individual, informal character. Well-thought-out ergonomics and the quality of materials make this place of everyday life also a space for rest and concentration.
This is a design that does not impose itself, but subtly invites you to experience the space attentively.
