The house in an orchard is a project that blends into its surroundings like no other. The guiding principle was to create a house connected with nature and, in a sense, “emerging” from the lush greenery surrounding it. The building was constructed using a wooden structure, and the investors decided to expose the roof truss inside to emphasize the connection between design and nature. The use of natural materials, such as wooden shingles and stone, makes the house look as if it has been there for a very long time and has become overgrown with greenery over time, blending in perfectly with the landscape. What is more, both the form and facade of this house refer to the neighboring buildings, which enhances the effect of its proper placement in the existing space.
We have also designed a covered, spacious terrace with a relaxation area, which includes a hot tub. Terrace is connected to the summer kitchen leading to the house. We have created this solution for those who like to take full advantage of the charms of summer and spend every free moment outdoors.
